Land of the Great Spirit

This project – “Spirit of Nimikii”, has been created in loving memory of my youngest son Bennett. I feel him with me always, guiding me from the Spirit World — and I know he is supporting me in this new journey.

I receive great healing in every stitch as I feel very connected to my ancestors, and all that they have endured to remain a strong Anishnaabe nation. {I hope to do you all proud.}
Each bead, and each stitch, represents a prayer for the recipient. I set my greatest intentions as I lovingly create each design, guided by my heartfelt instincts.

I thank each and every one of you for your comfort and support during my intense days of grief — Gchi-miigwech for sticking with me.

Gizaagin,
